Let’s make data-driven breast cancer screening more accessible to everyone.

Join us in bringing breast cancer screening to the people who need it most.

We are Vara. We won’t rest until every deadly breast cancer is detected early – for better outcomes for everyone, everywhere.

We create safe, reassuring opportunities for reliable breast cancer screening, and we're making them more accessible. Combining proven, state-of-the-art technology with the experience and expertise of leading physicians, we deliver measurable impact, backed by clinical evidence.

Because behind every case of breast cancer is a person. Someone’s mother, daughter, sister, partner, friend. One of us.

Vara - a platform for population based screening

To unleash the full potential of AI, we built solutions for the entire screening pathway, supporting all stakeholders along the way - the woman booking a screening appointment, radiology center front desk staff and technicians, the radiologist reading the scans, labs reporting the histopathology, appropriate communication of results, all the way to re-invitation and referral to treatment.

Our Home is the Real World

The world's largest prospective study conducted by the University of Lübeck and the German Breast Cancer Screening Program has evaluated the Vara Platform. The PRAIM study involved nearly half a million women, 12 screening units, and 119 radiologists in the German Mammography Screening Program. Soon to be published real world evidence will confirm the positive impact of Vara’s AI on cancer detection, unnecessary recalls and workload reduction.

Our clinical evidence shows how Vara is redefining breast cancer screening

We have partnered with some of the most renowned research organizations in the world for a constantly evolving, peer-reviewed evidence base on every aspect of our platform.

Creating impact on the system level

The full deployment of all modules will positively inflect all metrics that are relevant for a health system. Quality, capacity uplift, cost savings, patient experience as well as physician and staff satisfaction.

Better breast cancer screening should be every woman’s right

Screening isn’t available to most women – and when it is, far too many deadly breast cancers are either missed or caught too late.
